So let's start. First, what is quantum? Quantum generally means small but for a deeper meaning it can tell us what is real in life and what is not.
We can start off easily by first talking about Schrödinger's Cat.
Schrödinger's Cat:
This surprisingly dark theory was thought of by the one and only, Erwin Schrödinger. He thought of placing a cat inside a bunker with unstable gunpowder (einstein's version)/poisonous gas (schrödinger's version) and it would have 50 percent chance of blowing up and 50 percent chance of nothing happening therefore sparing the cat's life. The thing is, before you open the bunker, you will not know if the cat is alive or dead placing him in a state of Quantum superposition. So if you do this gruesome experiment 100 times, you will obviously see that 50 cats will be alive and the others will have perished. Since the cat is in a superposition it is our wanting of knowing the result that causes the laws of nature to collapse into one desicion: Alive or Dead.

Ok now let's talk about Quantum Computing.
Quantum Computing (I'm not too good at this if I missed anything edit this post)
Many of you know that classic computers are run by these things called bits. They can be clasified as 0 and 1, on and off, red and blue, etc. Well you see, Quantum Computing is ran by Qubits (Quantum Bits) that can be a 0 and a 1 (another example of quantum superposition) meaning that it can resolve twice as much problems in atleast twice the speed of your everyday computing system. Scientists have theorized that these machines could solve existential and universal questions in the amount of time it takes to get coffee. Now the only question is, how would this work out for gaming? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Schrödinger's Equatuon and Quantum Equating (P1kachu can you cover me on this one Quantum Equating in general is pretty novedous to me)
Well that's pretty much it!
Shoutout to CAC for letting me make this board.
